Metal Injection and Hot Forging

With the right choice of mold steel, heat treatment and PVD coating; toughness, heat hardness, low friction co-efficient and high oxidation resistance properties of PVD coatings are benefited in this type of molds that work under very heavy thermal conditions. Thus, the formation of fatigue cracks on the mold, the adhesion of the heat part onto the mold surface, the formation of heat erosion, corrosion and oxidation problems are delayed and thus the mold can be used for a much longer time.

Thanks to this lifetime increase, the mold cost per piece that is pressed or forged is significantly reduced. As a result of this, both the cost of the manufactured parts is reduced significantly and the surface properties of the manufactured part is improved, thereby minimizing the need for additional processes after the production operation.
